About this product

GoHenry offer prepaid accounts for children.

There is a fee for using these accounts, you can choose from three GoHenry memberships. Everyday is a debit card and app, Plus includes interest on savings and max is a family plan. Kids can learn through Money Missions in their GoHenry app.

So easy to manage

Go Henry teaches kids how to manage and track their money, so much better than a traditional bank but gives all the functionality of a traditional debit card. Love it! Reviewed on: 22nd November 2019

Fantastic Introduction

I found GoHenry a fantastic finance introduction for my young daughter. She has learnt to budget, save and respect the value of money. All of this whilst I can see what she is doing and help her if necessary. A fantastic app! Reviewed on: 22nd November 2019

Great way to teach children about money!

I think the concept of Go Henry is brilliant and has really taught my children that they have to earn money and save for things they want. They love the freedom of being able to use a card and seeing their balance on the app. Only downside is that is that if you need to top up your parent balance more than once a month, there is a small charge. Easy banking for kids

I got gohenry for my oldest girl Ella to try and give her skills at a young age about managing money. Before she would have got money off me, uncles, aunties grannies and their grandad for birthdays christmas and weekly pocket money which was thrown in the bottom of a bag or drawer. Now she has an effective way of saving. Family can also now pay into the card instead of giving her cash which is usually wasted on silly toys and sweets. I also use the card to pay in weekly pocket money so it works like an reward system. She loves going up the town with her friends and instead of carrying cash she pays for things on her card ( safer than carrying cash) . Also it gives her a bit of sense of independance where she goes shopping in town. I can sit and wait for her having a coffee or lunch but I can still track where she is with the notifications of spend in each shop/ location. It is just brilliant. We love it!! Bank on your Kids

Go Henry is such a good app. Purchased for my 8 year old granddaughter and has totally changed the way she looks at money and spending. Now saving for her holiday to Bali and asking friends and family to use go Henry for gifting and paying for chores well done. Limits mean she doesn’t get carried away. Separated Father

It’s always difficult when a relationship brakes down,none more so than when you have children. Not living near my children,not getting to see them as often as you would like. As they get older it’s really difficult trying to find them something they would like for their birthdays,Christmas etc etc. Then it becomes can I just have money this year dad? I never used to mind that,but I never got to see what they did with their money and as time goes by and you get mummy got me this for Christmas,birthdays etc etc and you think well what did I get for you and it makes you feel terrible. With this card I can see exactly what my children are spending their money on and you don’t feel so bad anymore or so distant because you don’t know what your son/daughter is into as they change and grow up so quickly. This card isn’t just for sending money for my children,it keeps me upto date of what their into and what interests they have. I’ve never bothered writing a review on anything before,however this is much more than an easy way to send money to my children. It allows you to keep upto date with their interests,hobbies etc etc and for myself it makes me feel closer to my children as I can see exactly what their interests are and not just guessing because they were into something one year and next year they have grown out of it,so it keeps you upto date with their interests and also gives you a good idea of what to talk about if you don’t get to see them very often. It’s an amazing idea especially for someone like myself. I no longer feel like an outsider and gives you some idea of what to talk about when I see them and I know what they got with their money for Christmas,birthdays etc etc. I would recommend it to any parents,weather they are still together or like myself had a relationship breakdown as it definitely keeps you closer and upto date with your children. I hope that helps anyone thinking about getting one for their child/children because it’s definitely extremely helpful for my relationship with my children. Reviewed on: 21st November 2019
