GoHenry offer prepaid accounts for children.

There is a fee for using these accounts, you can choose from three GoHenry memberships. Everyday is a debit card and app, Plus includes interest on savings and max is a family plan. Kids can learn through Money Missions in their GoHenry app.

Early years training for a debit card

We use these cards for giving our children pocket money. The cards give them independence and responsibility for their money in their early years. We can control their spending limits to help them on their new journey of having money and also give them extra tasks to do to earn more. It’s a great learning tool for them! My children have learnt how to save and budget fir what they need. Its been interesting watching them refuse to buy something they would have not even cared how much it cost before, and explaining why they wont buy it. Reviewed on: 18th November 2019

Easy to use, great ability to set spend limits and monitor spend. Great learnings for children to learn and manage money through weekly pocket money and doing chores. Would recommend the card for anyone who wants to start giving pocket money and getting your child to become more independent in managing money. Reviewed on: 18th November 2019

I am extremaly happy. My daughter has the account for about 7 months now and so far there hasn't been any problems with it and every time she spend's any money that's on her card you get a notification straight away . This is great at teaching kids responsibility and money management. It’s a good little set up that encourages your child to earn money by rewarding them with good behaviour on completion of chores and tasks. I can’t fault it in anyway and would highly recommend! Reviewed on: 18th November 2019
