About this product

GoHenry offer prepaid accounts for children.

There is a fee for using these accounts, you can choose from three GoHenry memberships. Everyday is a debit card and app, Plus includes interest on savings and max is a family plan. Kids can learn through Money Missions in their GoHenry app.

Better than a an childrens ISA

I have been looking for a bank account for my daughter and didnt want to open up an account in a bank as some accounts dont come with a bank card. I was told to check out go Henry and to be honest i havent looked back. If go Henry had an account for adults i would have one for myself. Its so easy to manage and transfer funds to the account. Got the card for my son a couple of years ago. He is now nine. It has made him responsible for saving his own money and he knows that once it's spent, that's it, he will have to wait and save again. He manages the amount and plans his purchases. He even sometimes purchases his own treats likes tub of ice-cream! Great for days out and holidays too and gives him some independence. As a parent, the ability to limit use or increase his spending allowance easily is also extremely handy. Reviewed on: 14th February 2021
