GOLF CARE INSURANCE. ONE OF THE BEST THING'S THAT I HAVE EVER DONE WAS TO JOIN GOLF CARE.

GOLF CARE INSURANCE. ONE OF THE BEST THING'S THAT I HAVE EVER DONE WAS TO JOIN GOLF CARE.OVER ALL THE YEARS THAT I HAVE PLAYED GOLF, FROM THE 190'S TO THE PRESENT I HAVE THOUGHT ABOUT GOLF INSURANCE BUT NEVER DID. HOWEVER TWO OCCASIONS, OVER THE LAST FEW YEARS, MADE MY MIND UP FOR ME. ONE WAS WHEN I WAS ABOUT TO TEE OFF ON A PAR 3 AND A WOMAN, AND A MAN, STATED TO WALK ACROSS MY INTENDED FLIGHT PATH TO THE GREEN. MY COMPANIONS STOPPED ME TEEING OFF WE WAVED TO THEM AND THEY ACKNOWLEDGED US AND STOPPED. SO I THEN TEED OFF BUT THEY STARTED TO WALK AGAIN AND MY BALL WAS ON ITS WAY BEING TOO LATE BY THEN TO STOP IT. IT HIT THE WOMAN ON THE HEAD AND SHE WENT DOWN. WE RUSHED DOWN TO SEE HOW SHE WAS I WAS SHAKING WORRYING THAT I HAD KILLED HER OR CAUSED HER, AT LEAST, SERIOUS INJURY.BY THE TIME WE GOT THERE THE MAN HAD GOT HER TO HER FEET AND THEY SAID IT WOULD BE ALRIGHT AND THEY PROCEEDED TO WALK ACROSS THE GOLF COURSE. WE EXPLAINED THAT ALTHOUGH WE WERE VERY CONCERNED ABOUT HER THAT THEY WERE ACTUALLY TREPASING ON THE GOLF COURSE AND THAT THEY SHOULD GO BACK AND KEEP CLEAR OF THE COURSE. THIS THEY THEN AGREED. WE ADVISED THAT THE MAN GET HER LOOKED AT BY MEDICAL STAFF, BECAUSE THERE WAS A VERY LARGE LUMP ON HER FOREHEAD, BUT THEY BOTH SAID THAT IT WAS ALRIGHT. NOW I WAS SHAKING AND VERY FRIGHTENED AT THIS TIME, REALLY SHOOK UP, BUT I CONTINUED WITH MY ROUND. WE NEVER HEARD ANYMORE ABOUT THIS BUT I OFTEN THINK HOW SHE WAS. THE SECOND OCCASION WAS WHEN I HAD JUST TEED OFF, WITH MY FRIEND, AND HE WENT DOWN THE RIGHT HAND SIDE OF THE FAIRWAY AND I WENT DOWN THE LEFT HAND SIDE OF THE FAIRWAY.WE HAD JUST STOPPED TALKING ,AS WE WENT TO WHERE OUR BALLS WERE. ALL OF A SUDDEN I HEARD SOME ONE SHOUT "FOUR" AND I IMMEDIATELY PUT MY HANDS ON MY HEAD AND DUCKED. AND A BALL LANDED BY ME I LOOKED UP TO TELL MY FRIEND THAT THAT WAS A CLOSE THING WHEN I SAW THAT HE WAS HOLDING HIS MOUTH. I WENT STRAIGHT ACROSS TO HIM AND THEN I REALIZED WHAT HAD ACTUALLY HAPPENED. THE BALL, FROM SOMEONE OVER TO OUR RIGHT, HAD HIT THE BALL AND IT HAD HIT MY FRIEND IN THE MOUTH. KNOCKING OUT ALL OF HIS FRONT TEETH, WHICH HE HAD JUST HAD DONE AND THEN BOUNCED, WHAT, TEN YARDS OVER TO WHERE I WAS STANDING. HE SAID TO ME TO CARRY ON AND THAT HE WOULD GET HIMSELF TO HOSPITAL (WHEN I TOLD HIM THAT I WOULD TAKE HIM) BUT, OF COURSE, I COULDNT LEAVE HIM SO I TOOK HIM TO THE HOSPITAL, THERE WAS NO WAY THAT HE COULD HAVE DRIVEN HIMSELF, AND I WAITED UNTIL THEY HAD FINISHED WITH HIM AND THEN TOOK HIM HOME. HE COLLECTED HIS CAR A COUPLE OF DAYS LATER. THE BLOKE WHO HAD HIT THE BALL HAD RAN ACROSS TO US AND WAS VERY APOLOGETIC AND, LIKE ME A COUPLE OF Y=EARS EARLIER, WAS SHAKING AND VISIBLY SHOCKED. MIND YOU HE WAS RATHER LATE IN SHOUTING "FOUR" BUT THESE THINGS DO HAPPEN ON A GOLF COURSE.I INQUIRED WHETHER EITHER OF THE OTHER TWO PLAYERS (WHOM ONE OF WHICH HAD HIT THE BALL THAT COLLIDED WITH MY FRIEND) IF THEY HAD INSURANCE NO THEY, LIKE US, WERE NOT INSURED. NOT INSURED AGAINST HITTING, OR BEING HIT, BY SOMEONE WHILST PLAYING GOLF. AND ,OF COURSE, HAVING GOLF INSURANCE WOULD PROTECT ONE FROM DAMAGING PROPERTY WITH HITTING A GOLF BALL WAYWARD.. WEIGHING THIS ALL UP I DECIDED THAT IT WAS NECESSARY NO, IMPERATIVE, TO GET GOLF INSURANCE. BESIDES PROTECTING ME FROM BEING SUED FOR HITTING SOMEONE ON A GOLF COURSE, BEING HIT BY SOMEONE ON A GOLF COURSE OR DAMAGING PROPERTY WHILST PLAYING GOLF. HENCE BEING A MEMBER OF GOLF CARE INSURANCE. I SHOULD HABVE DONE THIS YEARS AGO FOR PEACE OF MIND IF NOTHING ELSE. I ADVISE EVERONE THAT I EITHER PLAY WITH, OR AGAINST, THAT THEY SHOULD GET GOLF INSURANCE AND I EXPLAIN WHY. TELLING THEM MY EXPERIENCES WHICH I HAVE LAID OUT HERE. I AM SORRY THAT THIS IS A BIT LONG, MAYBE TOO LONG FOR WHAT YOU WANT, BUT THIS HAS BEEN MY REASON/REASONS FOR GETTING GOLF INSURANCE AND, I FEEL, THAT YOU SHOULD KNOW AND, INDEED, OTHER PEOPLE SHOULD KNOW WHY EVERYONE WHO PLAYS GOLF SHOULD BE INSURED.
