Great insurance for unusual destinations

I've used HRV twice now and they have always provided good insurance cover for the places I visit, which are often more remote places. I will definitely use them again. Reviewed on: 28th September 2026

Have two policies, staff knowledgeable and professional. Rates are competitive and offer different levels of cover. Responsive to emails and as I had to have a "case by case" policy did the quote on the phone after sending details to the underwriters. Easily sorted out and a painless process. Visiting family in areas of conflict.

We wanted to visit our family whilst there was ongoing conflict in the Middle East. Our usual travel insurer wouldn’t cover us but after getting in touch with High Risk Voyager we got cover and were able to travel with full peace of mind. Reviewed on: 28th September 2026

Was one of the only companies that would insure me for my trips to Venezuela! Helpful to have insurers that will cover 'high risk' places even if it means the price for insurance is more than your standard trip to Spain from England! Reviewed on: 28th September 2026
