Superb service during challenging times

I was looking for travel insurance to Dubai to visit my son during challenging times in the Middle East for my birthday and to support him. I was so pleased to discover I could get cover with High Risk Voyager. Josh was incredibly helpful and flexible when my plans kept changing due to rescheduled flights by the airline. He spotted where I’d given the wrong date too. He was very efficient and friendly. Many thanks and I would definitely recommend him to other travellers in the same situation. Excellent service. Excellent cover

I have annual insurance cover with my bank as I travel to the UAE bi monthly however they would not provide insurance for me to visit family in Dubai in May due to foreign office advice not to travel, which I found upsetting as I would not travel without appropriate cover. I found High Risk Voyager via Google search and they provided the appropriate level of insurance needed for my needs. The process was very easy, the agent who processed my request was very efficient and I was immediately offered appropriate travel cover to visit my family at a reasonable cost. Was taken ill in thailand,phoned high risk and was told someone would get back to me,3 days later someone phoned me and asked if I was still in hospital as they had only just seen i was there. Reviewed on: 7th July 2026

High Risk Voyager good insurance for difficult places

I have used High Risk Voyager a few times for work in Ukraine and other conflict zones. Each time they have provided insurance to cover my needs. Only downside is that a couple of time it took a while for them to check with underwriters so I was waiting almost up to the time of departure. Reviewed on: 7th July 2026
