Helps budgeting and gives my sons money independence

I use Hyperjar to help me with personal budgeting - I move personal spending money into that account. I also use the app and contactless cards to give my sons (8 and 11) control over their pocket money, and some independence how/where/when they spend the money. Very easy and intuitive to use the app and my sons are happy using their contactless cards Reviewed on: 12th March 2024

great free budgeting card for families

I got the card for my children but i now use it for keeping track of my work expenses and travel. i can create a pot which means claiming back from my employer is simple. also whem going abroad on holiday I set up another pot for foreign currency purchases meaning i know what my budget is and its easy to keep track. my children their own cards on my account which i top up with pocket money or gifts from family. they are confident at shopping in person and online and also use their cards on public transport.
