Entering our prize draw is simple, as is the process we take when deciding a winner. See the steps below to find out how our prize draw works.
You leave an eligible review on Smart Money People
Once the voting period is closed, we select a winner at random
We contact the winner by email to let them know they’ve won
You can leave multiple reviews, though please leave only one per company, per category
Prize draw terms and conditions
The prize draw (the “Prize Draw”) is open to UK residents aged 18 and over.
However, for customers voting in the ‘Best motor insurance provider’ category, the prize draw is also open to UK residents aged 16 and over.
If you’re under the age of 18, by entering the prize draw you confirm your parents or guardians have consented to your entry, and have read and understand the competitions’ terms.
Employees of Smart Money People or their family members, or anyone else connected with the Prize Draw, may not enter the Prize Draw.
Entrants into the Prize Draw shall be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.
To enter the Prize Draw you must leave an eligible review between 7 July 2025 and 14 October 2025. Entries received after this time will not be eligible. No purchase is necessary.
You may leave more than one review, but each review must be for a different product and/or brand. Each eligible review will qualify for an entry into the Prize Draw.

There’s one £1,000 cash prize on offer. The Prize Draw winner will be chosen from a random draw of entries received. The draw will take place on 21 October 2025.
The winner will be notified by email (using the details provided at entry) on or before 28 October 2025. If a winner doesn’t respond to Smart Money People within 14 days of being contacted, the winner’s prize will be forfeited, and Smart Money People may select another winner. If a winner rejects their prize or the entry is invalid, or in breach of these Terms and Conditions, the winner’s prize will be forfeited, and Smart Money People may select another winner.
The cash prize will be transferred to the winners’ bank account by Smart Money People within 14 days of the winner providing valid bank account details.
The name of the winner will be available six weeks after the closing date and can be obtained by sending an SAE to Smart Money People Limited, Ebbisham House, 30 Church Street, Epsom, KT17 4NL.
Unless otherwise stated, the promoter is Smart Money People Limited, Ebbisham House, 30 Church Street, Epsom, KT17 4NL.
Smart Money People reserves the right to amend or discontinue the Prize Draw at any time with or without prior notice due to reasons outside its control. The decision of Smart Money People in all matters under its control is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.
The Prize Draw will be governed by English law and entrants to the Prize Draw submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
