I knew it would be a challenge to find a mortgage as a self-employed person, especially at a mature age. L&C did an excellent job of securing me a good deal for me and handled everything on my behalf smoothly and efficiently. Reviewed on: 4th February 2026

I have used L&C for all of my mortgages/remortgages...

I have used L&C for all of my mortgages/remortgages and they have been outstanding each time. Very simple to use website, easy to book appointments over the phone and email communication is very good too. They do all the legwork for you and I wouldn't want to use anyone else. Great for remortgaging my family home

A very efficient and affordable way to do your remortgaging where the mortgage advisor and the legal service flow smoothly from one to the other. We remortgaged our family home to a competive 5 year rate using L & C with minimal effort. Reviewed on: 4th February 2026

My experience as a first time buyer with L&C was really good, so I used them again to re-mortgage. Unfortunately this time I found that their service levels weren't as good as they were a couple of years ago. Everything was fine and I don't generally have any complaints, I just found that the people I was in contact with seemed to just do the minimum of what was required and no more.
