Excellent support when re-mortgaging

I have used L&C to re-mortgage my house twice now (in 2020 and 2025) and both times I have received excellent customer service and the best deal. In 2020, the mortgage broker supported me to take 10 years off my mortgage by finding an excellent deal. More recently, the mortgage broker was quick to find the deals and give me options to pick from. Communicated throughout. Even when I'd accepted a new mortgage, I was contacted and informed that a lower rate had been found for me and was able to switch to the new and better deal! Reviewed on: 25th March 2025

I’m a single mum and had tried my bank whom I have been with for 25 years (and always had a good credit rating) to obtain a mortgage but I was 10k short on the amount I needed. L&C were very helpful and found several suitable mortgages. As mortgage level fluctuated they advised me of how I could change to suit my needs. I can’t thank them enough. I arranged a very rapid mortgage with L&C when interest rates were due to change. The diligent team I spoke to completely understood the urgency and worked incredibly hard to get me the best rate that I could in a changing market. I’m currently purchasing my second home with the help of L&C. I had a mortgage offer within 24 hours of my Inital phone call! I’ve used them for my first home purchase back in 2021 and my remortgage back in 2023, absolutely hassle free. always helpful friendly input and even passing on to brokers, I managed to get fantastic life and critical illness cover given my risky employment this wasn’t an easy task to find a good deal, I’ve recommended my colleagues as an outcome. Also recently the survey company for the property I’m purchasing was recommended by L&C and I can honestly say I have never seen a more in depth and realistic survey on a property.
