Thorough, personal and trustworthy mortgage support.

David Bass has looked after my mortgage for years now. He understands and appreciates my situation and finds brilliant products that save me money and more importantly time. I don’t have to diarise when my products are due for renewal, he always contacts me to remind me. David also checks the market just before I’m due to renew again to make sure he has found me the best product. I think this is above the normal expectation of a mortgage advisor which is why I fully trust him to save me time and money. Reviewed on: 5th February 2026

Always available to talk. I have used L&C twice and due to use them again and will not hesitate again. They always give me sound advice and will always explain in plain English, which suits me perfectly. The savings made on the new mortgages have helped me financially and I am very grateful. I should have gone to them sooner, but I was against using agents when I thought I could do it myself. Great Service

I've used L&C twice now, once to get my initial mortgage and then a remortgage. I used Samuel Butler twice and he was great. He explained anything I found confusing and gave me all the information I needed to make an informed decision about which mortgage to go for. Friendly, helpful and great value service

I have used L&C numerous times firstly for both mortgages and re-mortgages. At all times they have been very friendly, polite and extremely willing to help and they have great communication by both phone and email/messages. They have always managed to find a better deal than anything I could locate on the "open market". Over the 20plus years I have been a mortgage-holder this must have saved me a fortune!
