There London Mutual has been a concept developed for a particular sector of the society who would have been disadvantaged and marginalised to have access to life building economic processes. It's expansion and product development over this short period is commendable, giving growth and opportunities parallel to if not better comparative to the mainstream banking and financial services, where it has meticulously been creative to make available services to all dimensions of needs of all sectors of household statuses of the society. Our credit union was started shortly after the Brixton Riots in the 1990's. We are a faith based credit union called Lewisham Plus and we were trained and shown the ropes by directors and staff from LMCU. our credit unions are very similar and we work hard to keep on board all our partners (members are our most important asset). I was a board member of my CU in Lewisham and I am now a manager at LPCU. We would not have been as successful without the long term help, support and friendship of London Mutual and there staff. I am proud to be one of their members and will continue to remain part of the LMCU community for years to come. Reviewed on: 25th June 2020
