Very easy to deal with. Staff have great knowledge of the savings accounts.

Loughborough Building Society dealt with the case in a sensible and pragmatic way. Rather than taking a rigid, tick-box approach, they reviewed the information properly, asked clear questions where further evidence was needed, and ultimately found a way to support the application. I was particularly impressed that they were prepared to consider the higher lending amount and assess the overall case properly, rather than simply declining because it was not a standard application. The underwriting process was detailed, but the requests were clear and the lender came back quickly compared with many others. Overall, I found them to be fair, thorough and practical, especially for a more complex mortgage case.
