Moneybarn car finance agreements last between 36 and 60 months.

You’ll need to meet monthly earning requirements, be aged between 20 and 75, have a full valid UK licence and be able to provide two consecutive months of payslips. There is lending criteria you’ll need to meet that relate to the vehicle you want finance for.

A chance to buy a reliable car

Moneybarn was not a luxury choice, but a practical one. I have been rejected elsewhere and require a vehicle. Moneybarn offered me a pathway to road-readiness that is both regulated and reliable. Moneybarn can be a useful alternative lender, especially when your credit is imperfect. The interest rates are higher, so I wouldn’t consider it a first choice, but it can be helpful in certain situations. It may even be worth offering credit options in different categories—both for customers with good credit and those with weaker credit. Just an idea to consider. Reviewed on: 20th June 2026
