Happy with large purchase, 0% over few years

Used it to purchase sofas as it was one of the only finances available at 0% for a substantial period of time (think years). Haven’t had any problems with them, even returned one item and they highlighted how it had changed the amount. I get regular paper statements, which is good, but their lack of online services may be a bit challenging for some people; I needed to change my direct debit date and I had to phone them to do it as opposed to sorting it out myself with an o line account or something. Absolutely abysmal service. 7 minutes typing in 16 digit codes, to then have to go through to India and someone who can barely speak English on a muffled phone to got through the whole thing again, JUST TO GET A BALANCE!!!! IT'S THE 21ST CENTURY!!! SOMEONE NEEDS THE SACK!! how can you have a customer portal that is this bad in 2026! Reviewed on: 3rd June 2026

Barclays finance

I have had a loan from Barclays finance for the sum of 1838. This is paid at 78 pound over 2 years. I have never missed a payment and they were flexible from the start to choose a payment date suitable for me. Money is taken on time, which ensures I have no problem with incoming and outgoings. I have paid to date and have just several months left. The plan is affordable for me and customer service to change original plan date was with no issues Reviewed on: 16th April 2026

Shocking System !!!! I have no idea how their system works but it seems to be all over the place and no one can make up their mind. Despite an excellent Credit rating and a sizeable limit, i make a small purchase and its declined. Call to make complaint and then told to make the purchase again, its accepted ????? Awful service and clueless

Awful customer service, don’t have a clue what they’re doing and make your account unreasonably hard to manager and access. outdated service offering, don’t follow up on calls, useless. avoid the stress and inevitable time spent on the phone. Reviewed on: 7th August 2024
