Super-easy to set up and use for both children and the grown-ups.

I chose Rooster because as a Natwest Customer there was no fee. I find new apps difficult to get used to but this was incredibly easy to set up. The new card arrived quickly for my son and he loved that it was addressed to him! I like the notification of what is spent and where and the weekly summary. After a few weeks my son used the card for an online purchase that proved to be unwise as the details were not secure and further unauthorised payments were attempted. Rooster were brilliant in dealing with this quickly and giving assurance that everything was safe. It was a hard lesson for my son that not everything is what it seems online but also gave him confidence in speaking up about something going wrong and knowing that things can be sorted out Reviewed on: 10th March 2023

Brilliant for Children and Adults

Rooster provides a safe place for my children to learn about finances, working to earn money, responsible spending and good saving habits. It's easy to use, my children love it and they feel very grown up when they can pay for their own purchases with a bank card. Reviewed on: 10th March 2023

Incredibly useful account

This is so useful to teach my young teenager how to manage money, save and most importantly that he needs to earn money by working. I love the extras such as adding your own interest rate to encourage them to save money and the app is really easy to set up and use. Already recommended it to many people. Fab pocket money app for my 9 year old

Great pocket money app for my child and cheaper than the competition. Gives him a card so he purchase Lego, video games and Pokemon cards online himself! Reviewed on: 8th March 2023

Easy to use for busy modern families

So easy...I never carry cash now and do everything from the natwest banking app so being able to send and manage the kids pocket money is invaluable. Putting the money on once a month means they have to manage it. My oldest is 16 and loves the independence of being able to order items online but I can still keep a track on what he is doing. Fantastic and pleasing user interface. Being a natwest customer also means I get free subscription. Reviewed on: 7th March 2023

Fantastic children's money management

Absolutely love that this is free for Natwest Cutomers. In a world where more and more businesses are cashless this is a fantastic opportunity for children to gain money skills ..... earning, saving and spending Reviewed on: 6th March 2023

Transparent, good value and honest

Tried this and another service for the trial period. The Rooster service was refreshing. Focused on providing a good service to parent and child. Love the inclusion of foster parents/carers - also love that canceling the service was a simple as signing up. No dodgy games being played - refreshing to see. Reviewed on: 5th March 2023
