nimbl has a money app and prepaid card for kids and teens.

With nimbl, your child gets a card and app they can use to spend, save and learn how to manage money. Parents or guardians can set smart limits, instant top-ups and blocks. This is a membership so you’ll need to pay an annual fee to use the account.

Great card for kids too young to have a bank card.

Great card. I load the kids pocket money weekly. Helpful reminders if I forget to top up my balance. Accepted everywhere. Not had any issues so far! Reviewed on: 18th January 2021

Nimbl

My two sons have had nimbl accounts for time and it has been great for their savings and teaching them about how to manage their money. Reviewed on: 18th January 2021

A friendly, accessible, safe, educational, and positive financial aid for parents and their children.

Extremely handy for being able to top up your children’s card when they need it, or indeed stop any transactions. We use it to put their weekly pocket money on and they can choose how much they want to save - the app encourages saving and financial responsibility. We particularly like the instant notification we receive when the card has been used as it helps us keep a gentle eye on what they are spending, when and where, so it gives us peace of mind. The children feel a sense of maturity at having a bank card and the responsibilities that come with it. However, children being children will lose cards or break them- but we have control over the card which can be stopped immediately at the touch of a button on our phones , and ordering replacements is simple - whenever we have called Nimbl they are super helpful and efficient. Fantastic for kids

My 10 year old daughter loves her nimbl card. She loves it when she can pay contactless. Much easier to keep a card safe than carrying cash and coins around. She earns her money and I top her card up via the app. I can see what she's spending without really depriving her of her independence. She's sensible with her choice and always asking how much she has so she knows how much to earn if she has her eye on something. Having parental control and the ability to freeze the card via the app is a weight off my shoulders should the day come where she loses her card. At £1.99 a month its excellent service and more than value for money. Reviewed on: 18th January 2021

Easy to use

Nimbl is really easy to use and gives good features for managing the account. The only thing that could be improved would be to make it easier to withdraw money from the parent account. Other than this, it's perfect. Reviewed on: 18th January 2021

Enabling children
