Friendly staff and good policy cover

Took out insurance from Petsure last year, the whole process was very easy and loved that I could pick and chose what type of cover I wanted. The staff were very helpful when I needed to make changes to my policy as well. I sadly had to claim but happy that it was paid without any issue. Reviewed on: 19th July 2023

Cover to suit me & helpful staff

Although I have only had my puppy 11 weeks and he came with 4 weeks free pet insurance with Petplan, I shopped around for cover to start from the beginning of July when the free cover expires with them. Petplan seem to alter their quotes day to day, despite no add ons or amendments (and a 14 day holding quote - supposedly) so this put me off going with them longer term. I've used them in the past for my cat and it was never like that back then. Think they have got too big for their boots being the 'no. 1 insurers' as they claim. Having currently not had to actually make a claim for my puppy as the insurance policy is not valid until the beginning of July, I cannot fault the price, lifetime cover for my puppy, inlcuding dental cover and travel (at only £2 extra) and the helpful customer service and setting up this policy. I also like the vet phone line/online service they offer for advice. I am rating Petsure a 5 for these reasons alone as I am so far impressed with their service. Reviewed on: 20th June 2023

Dental insurance included

I have chosen this pet insurance company, it's been a purr-fect choice! What sets them apart is the option to add dental insurance for my cat and the ability to customise the insurance coverage to fit :) A friend of mine reminded me of the importance of dental insurance for our cats. She had overlooked it in the past and ended up spending a lot for tooth extraction. Poor thing lost a few pounds before discovering the severity of the dental inflammation. So, when it came to selecting insurance, I made sure to pay extra attention to dental coverage for my cat. That's why I absolutely love this insurance company for allowing me to customise the coverage to suit my pet's needs. And the best part? It's surprisingly affordable, even with the added dental benefits. Plus, they offer the convenience of online video consultations, making vet visits a breeze. Reviewed on: 8th June 2023

A Life Saver (literally)

Petsure gave me AMAZING cover for my 2 year old cat after she was diagnosed with life time Kidney disease. My husband and I were distraught when Sylvie was first diagnosed as my current insurer at the time would not cover this because of the plan I had taken out. Efficient uncomplicated and fast!

Simple and clean

Not had to claim yet for big issues (apart from a small claim on printing costs for leaflets when we thought our cat was missing), but everything is well laid out in terms and conditions, one of the few insurers which accepts existing conditions amd that give you the option to opt out of bill share regardless of age. The small claim was sorted quickly and money paid. Renewal will give us a judge on good value. Read your documents and you'll know what you are covered for! Reviewed on: 12th October 2022
