Communication of an offer that I can't actually use!

I recently received an email from HSBC informing me that I could earn bonus points if I spent x amount per month May, June & July. The problem is I got this email at the end of June and haven't spent anything on my card during May, so can't be eligible for the special bonus points! Reviewed on: 29th June 2015

Friendly agent BUT £9 charge

I had to make an invoice payment in US dollars. I couldn't do this online, so had to call HSBC. The agent that took my calls was very friendly, and there was no call wait (it was 9pm on a Sunday)...but I am a little annoyed that they charged me for the ability to make a payment. Easy to manage....but very low rates!

I recently decided to close this account with NS&I. Although the product was quite easy to manage online (I don't think I've ever need to call them), the rate offered is very low. I would look at reopening if the interest rates increased. Reviewed on: 6th April 2015
