Long Live PayPal

PayPal are always great. I use them whenever they are listed as an option. The pay in 3 is a great service! Especially in the current climate. And for me personally, as someone with ADHD, I need to make a fair few purchases for things that will help me. They approve it right away, you get a confirmation email instantly, and a reminder of the payment due to be taken. The only improvement I would suggest is a text about upcoming deductions (but this is just personal preference / would help me more, not a fault of PayPal. I just thought I would make the suggestion). PayPal in general as a service is brilliant. You have more protection with services and goods purchased (they have helped with gaining refunds on a few occasions especially with scam sellers). They are a great way of transfering money between friends and family rather than going through a bank as it is instant and much more secure. They allow for dual sign in and you get the text code instantly. I honestly cannot rate them enough. My only issue, and this may not be with PayPal so I apologise if not, is that with some sites (Ticketmaster for one is awful with this), when you select PayPal as the option (including Pay in Three) before you can complete the verification it kicks you out! So you lose your tickets. This may be a "bug" used by these companies so that you don't use PayPal, I'm not sure. Or, it is an issue with PayPal that they need to be aware of to fix. Overall though, apart from this one thing, absolutely excellent and the customer service is brilliant as well. Reviewed on: 13th June 2024
