Much better Pay in 3 options out there

There are much better alternatives to Paypal pay in 3 imo. Reasons: No clarity around eligibility rules (sometimes you’re eligible, sometimes not, if you’re rejected it’ll then ban you for an indefinite amount of time - customer service cannot tell you any more). Exchange rates are terrible. If your card declines for some reason, it’ll then ban you from pay in 3 for an undefined length of time (even if your card is now fully working). Terrible customer service - very very long wait times on the phone, and agents have very little access to information so can’t help much. Overall I’d only use paypal pay in 3 as a last resort (one upside is that most places take them, though often you can create a “one-time card” in klarna for places that don’t have it listed as a payment option, takes slightly longer though).
