Edging your bets

Five years ago I was diagnosed with Oesophageal Cancer which statistically claimed 50% of lives within two years. I prepared for the worst while hoping for the best by planning my finances. Firstly this was to pay for my funeral and secondly I needed quick access to my savings that was safe but gave a good return on the interest.
