Great budgeting tool, just watch your payment dates.

PayPal Pay in 3 is a solid service if you use it responsibly. I’ve used it to buy ⁠[item/service]⁠ and it works exactly as advertised—the amount is split into three equal parts with no interest or late fees. Having PayPal Buyer Protection attached to it also gives great peace of mind. The only downside is that you can’t change the repayment dates to line up with your payday; they are locked to 30 and 60 days after your purchase. If you plan ahead for that, it's a fantastic, stress-free alternative to a credit card. Reviewed on: 9th June 2026
