I was really disappointed to find out that the NatWest offer to waive the yearly Rooster Card fee doesn’t apply if you have a business account. I do bank with NatWest and assumed this would count, but apparently not – something that’s not made clear upfront. Annoyed is honestly an understatement. Also, the £19 per card fee feels seriously steep. For families with more than one child, this adds up quickly and makes what should be a helpful tool quite expensive. I think the pricing could definitely be reviewed and made more accessible – especially given the current cost of living. The concept of Rooster is great, but between the exclusions and the fees, it’s left a bit of a sour taste. Hopefully, some of these things get reconsidered soon. Reviewed on: 16th April 2025
