Large interest rates.

I like having a credit card for ease of unexpected payments before payday or larger purchases that aren't budgetted for at that time however the large interest charges make it almost impossible to get your balance back down to a manageable number and there is no help form Vanquis with this by lowering interest or freezing for a few months to allow you the chance to get on top of things. Once I've managed to pay mine off I will be closing my account because of this. Reviewed on: 17th April 2025
