Good Starter Card, Limited Long-Term Value

I used Vanquis for my first credit card and overall, it served its purpose well. It was a good starting point for building my credit history, and getting accepted helped me establish a solid lending record early on. Customer service was always helpful in my experience, and the app was straightforward to use. However, I found it quite difficult to get credit limit increases, even with consistent use and keeping my utilisation below 25%. Over time, I moved on to other credit cards that offered higher credit limits, cashback, and more flexible features like 0% APR pay-in-three options. Vanquis was a useful first step, but for those with growing credit scores, other cards may offer more competitive benefits. Still, I appreciate how it helped me get started.
