Review of the Great Western Credit Union, Loans:

Not For Me

Have had loans in the past and paid in full no issues. They now do not loan to me at all. They work like a normal loan provider, credit checks etc however they take days getting back to you. Not really for local community, if they were they would understand not everyones credit file would be the same. When a loan is declined the email you get isnt friendly at all, listing out issues etc. Not happy with the service me or my husband get as members. Reviewed on: 20th May 2025

This sometimes means making difficult decisions to avoid putting members at further financial risk, even if they’ve successfully borrowed before.
