Vanquis Card - worked for me!

Was offered the Vanquis Card a few years ago when my credit rating was rather poor. The card looks like a credit card, works like a credit card- it is a normal credit card! Negatives - a bit of shame when using as you think everyone can see you using a card for people who cannot get credit, it has a quite high APR. Positives - I use the Android app, which does everything you could need. As I used the card properly I got credit limit increases, to the point it could be used for significant purchases. I do not know if having Vanquis card helped but have subsequently got a mainstream credit card. I'll still keep my Vanquis card though, as it helped me when no other would Reviewed on: 8th July 2025
