Capitalstackers often do not pay back lenders funds!

1
My husband I are at a significant overall loss from our investing with Capitalstackers :-( Most of our loans went into default and did not return our loaned principal despite us being made to wait for years!! Forget the hope of any interest, you are apparently asking for too much just to get your loaned principal returned in the eyes of Capitalstackers. Capitalstackers ONLY interest is continuing to buddy up with their borrowers and their first-charge lenders, many of whom they've been friends with for a long time, and they don't give two hoots about Capitalstackers lenders or their funds. I've cried bucketfuls because of how much money we lost through Capitalstackers. You're smarters throwing £50 notes out of your window: at least some of the notes may end in the hands of someone with some morals, not the good-for-nothings that are Capitalstackers dishonourable and misleading borrowers. CrowdProperty inept at getting money from borrowers!

1
My husband and I invested our hard-earned pension savings into Crowdproperty's investments, only to find ourselves left financially devastated. The losses have placed an unbearable strain on our lives, to the point where our marriage is on the brink of collapse. Despite my husband having retired, he has been forced to return to work due to the severe financial hardship caused by our failed investments in Crowdproperty. The promises we were given -assurances that our funds were secure and backed by first legal charges on properties - have proven to be nothing more than empty words. In reality, Crowdproperty's staff and directors spent years enriching themselves while neglecting the warnings that were clearly laid out in front of them. In 2025, the directors have abandoned the company faster than you can say "Titanic," leaving their jobs because they are fully aware that their incredibly negligent actions had led to things going from bad to worse. It seems Crowdproperty has effectively turned its back on individual investors like my husband and me and other retail investors we have come across, opting instead to cozy up to institutional investors. To those institutions considering an investment, I say beware If they were willing to gamble away the pensions of ordinary people, lending their money out willy-nilly to terrible borrowers who MOSTLY default and demonstrating little interest or ability in getting it back, it’s only a matter of time before they do the same with institutional funds! Crowdproperty has cost us an arm and a leg, and it's clear that their relationship with reckless borrowers will only continue to harm those who place their trust in them! Customer service continues to be pants too. Investors like me are treated as a nuisance by Crowdproperty, whose only interest is in serving the needs of their borrowers. They are not even particularly interested in getting funds back from those borrowers. Reviewed on: 12th September 2025
