I had a query with them as my new car insurer.

I had a query with them as my new car insurer. They needed proof of my NCD, which I obtained from my previous car insurer. There was gap of just over two years, because we went from two cars to one and I went as a second driver on my husbands car. Initially One Call didn't want to except my NCD as it was over two years and they wanted me to pay extra premium and admin costs. Aslo my NCD went to 0. I asked for some leniency but I got the standard 'I'm sorry you feel that way' but, these are the rules'. When I said I wanted this to be stated as a complaint. They came up with a reduction of the admin cost. I said I reluctantly would go ahead with it as long as the complaint was still in place. To cut an already long story short. The agent said he would call the broker and after a while he returned with the good news that they had accepted my just over two years NCD. Reviewed on: 8th October 2025
