Review of the Zempler Bank, Business account:

Mostly good, with some intractable issues

Overall my experience has been great with Zempler, but there were/are a couple of issues that never quite got resolved. I had one client whose payroll system was unable to process their payment to me, and apparently it only affected me and another Zempler worker. The payment would be refused and they'd have to manually deposit the money. The other issue kept occuring where if a direct debit failed once, it would cancel the direct debit arrangement and then it was seemingly impossible to reinstate the direct debit with the same recipient. Zempler support insisted it was due to the DD id that was provided, but it seemed to affect different recipients, and I've never had such a situation with other banks. I just ended up giving up (paying the money from a non-Zempler account) after passing messages back and forward between the DD recipient and Zempler support to no avail.
