From Hesitation to Habit

Took me a long time to time to use Revolut as a main bank, yet once I got comfortable and now helped by the FSCS protection that was finally given, it is now a crucial financial partner. The ease of moving money between currencies, the excellent app and clear visibility of transactions is very useful. I do find the customer service to be only average. It can feel painful seeking help, here Revolut need to look to First Direct for best practice. The Ultra tier is ridiculously over priced and the even on Metal some of the adds seem akin to stuffing a stocking with junk, rather than a focus on banking value. Reviewed on: 26th January 2026
