Review of the Halifax, Reward current account:

Solid banking no frills just easy

I switched to Halifax, mainly for the switching bonus but also because RBS were terrible. £5 paid in every month is a nice little bonus, their online banking is the same as LLoyds and very easy to use. Fully recommend, even if their bank staff can be a bit slow at times, Reviewed on: 26th January 2016

Fast and friendly

I switched to Metro bank because I was annoyed at never being to get to RBS during their opening hours. Metro is open every day and they have lolipops for my little girl. The staff are great and the experience is always a good one. Reviewed on: 4th November 2015

Review of the Aviva, Car insurance:

A bit expensive but no problems

I had Aviva as it was the cheapest insurance I could find, I never needed to use it, but when it came time to renew, they were not very accommodating, they eventually offered a £60 discount when I told them I had much better offers from other insurers. In the end I switched as I could get Fully-comprehensive insurance elsewhere for almost half the price. Reviewed on: 10th August 2015

Great opening times and genuinely friendly, helpful staff.

I switched to Metro because my previous bank always seemed to be closed. Metro is even open on Sunday, so I never have to miss time from work to go to the bank. The staff are very friendly and helpful and I have no complaints at all, they even have lollipops which my daughter loves! Reviewed on: 10th August 2015
