Review of the American Express, Charge Card:

Excellent service and great rewards

I opened the american express account to get the bonus avios on offer. They have regular special offers throughout the year, the small shops offer this year was fantastic, lots of money back this year! If things go wrong they are always available over the phone, I changed my credit limit for a big purchase in about 5 minutes. Very happy with the service from AE. Reviewed on: 24th December 2016

Review of the Tesco Bank, Clubcard credit cards:

No problems- good customer service

I got this card just to try and top up my clubcard points and it worksa treat for this. I had some early issues, ( I forgot my PIN and online password) but TESCO sorted it out quickly. Full marks :) Reviewed on: 20th June 2016

Review of the Experian, Credit Check:

Close to impossible to cancel

I tried Experian to get my credit score and to hopefully improve it. No problems so far, but when I tried to cancel it, they ignored it and took more money from my account. It took a very very long time and too many complaints before I got my account cancelled and my money back. Reviewed on: 6th May 2016

perfect for overseas spending

I got this card solely for spending on holiday. It has a near perfect exchange rate, it actually cannot be beaten. I made some simple calculations and the difference between spending £500 on this whilst on holiday and swapping with the bank or post office was over £65 Reviewed on: 28th March 2016

Good for poor credit, otherwise avoid

I got this credit card to boost my credit rating as I had been previously refused another card. It worked and after using this for a year, my credit rating improved significantly, so I was able to get a better credit card easily. If that is what you want, then it does the job, but be warned they constantly call and send irritating text messages. I don't ever give out my personal details over the phone unless I make the call. Vanquis constantly call and ask for personal details, but without giving anyway to confirm that they are who they say they are. The customer service over the phone is a joke, they never know anything. avoid them unless you really have poor credit and need to start to improve it. Reviewed on: 28th March 2016
