Account closure with Dudley BS.

I kept a low value savings account with Dudley BS for a number of years. However after Stourbridge Branch closed, travel to another town to have my interest added would cost more than the amount added. Therefore I recently closed the account starting with a phone request to supply necessary forms. The prepaid envelope mentioned in the closure letter was not forthcoming so as I was in another business nearby I called at the Waterfront Office. At first it looked doubtful if this would take place but a very efficient second person came to help and within 2 days I received the closing balance into my nominated account and updated passbook.
