PAY - Proficient, Adaptable, Liberating

Of all the online financial facilities I use - my bank, Amazon and a host of internet retailers - Paypal is the only one never to let me down, the only one never to cause me a moment's anxiety, and the only one to respond to queries almost instantaneously. As a comfortably off but not wealthy 82 year old living on state and occupational pensions with three children and three grandchildren, I find the interest-free pay in three facility invaluable, and a welcome relief from punitive credit card interest-rates - particularly at expensive times of the year. As someone who only uses credit in an emergency, I also like Paypal's credit policy - to offer credit where it is due, but not to push it aggressively. Only the very wealthy in these times can truly be free of money worries; but Paypal does a great deal to support a huge constituency of solvent but not affluent families like mine in managing their financial affairs comfortably and without stress. In short, Paypal is invaluable to me and to mine. Reviewed on: 6th April 2026
