Regular credit checks nonexistent

PayPal states they do regular checks to increase credit limit. I think the AI software is not working properly. All the other credit companies increased my limit to over £5000. I started with PayPal with a credit limit of only £250. Took them 4 years to increase it to £2000 and now after another few years nothing has changed yet. I have always new offer above £11000 from other creditors. Obviously I don't accept everything as I don't need to. But PayPal itself does not regularly check as they promise I can say. PayPal is too strict

PayPal is too strict and blocks you immediately even if you have an amazing payment history and excellent credit history when the system is not happy in how much you buy. I have nothing to say as I cannot use it anymore and costumers service is now nonexistent telling you to just wait and see. I now use klarna for everything. Reviewed on: 8th April 2026
