Easy to use and reliable for everyday payments

I’ve been using PayPal for quite a while now in the UK, mostly for online shopping and sometimes for bigger purchases too. Overall, it’s been a really smooth experience. It’s quick to pay, accepted almost everywhere, and I like that I don’t have to enter my card details on every website, it just feels safer. I’ve tried PayPal Credit a few times when I needed a bit more flexibility with payments. It’s helpful for spreading the cost, especially for larger items, but you do need to keep an eye on the interest if you don’t pay it off in time. I’ve also used Pay in 3, which I actually found very convenient for smaller purchases. Everything is clearly set out, and the automatic payments make it easy to manage without thinking too much about it. The best part for me is the buyer protection. It gives me peace of mind when ordering from sellers I’m not familiar with. I did have one situation where a refund took a bit longer than I expected, but in the end it was sorted, which matters most. Overall, I’d say PayPal is a reliable and flexible option for online payments, and I use it regularly without any major issues. Reviewed on: 10th April 2026
