PayPal is easy and straightforward to use.

PayPal is easy to use, integrated well into various websites and transparent about expected payments. Although I don't tend to use the flexibility, they give you flexibility to Pay in 3, and have other side benefits such as the option to take on PayPal credit, or a PayPal debit card if it's helpful. Payment and authentication is straightforward and their app is also useful. If you have an issue, it can be a little tricky to get hold of customer service, but I have needed to do this once and was able to get through online. They were then very helpful and resolved my (minor) issue. Reviewed on: 10th April 2026
