PayPal Direct Debit plan has been terrible.

Terrible product and poor App. Direct debits are unable to offer bespoke payment dates as per the customers financial schedule. DD Payment dates are not advertised in the App and exact dates of bank transactions remain a mystery. Compared to other companies, PayPal is the worst I've experienced. I feel as if it has been designed for the customer to fail / miss a payment. Communication is unclear and unavailable within the app. Emails are sent which can be missed - these could easily be notifications in the App. Reviewed on: 13th April 2026
