I always pay using PayPal when the option is there to do so. I feel it offers some payment security and I choose the “pay in 3” option quite often. PayPal credit offers a simple way to manage larger purchases and I’ve just applied for a physical card. By offering 4 months interest free credit on purchase over £100, the incentive is there to pay off the debt in a timely fashion. I haven’t needed to contact customer services so far, but I understand from others that they are helpful. Reviewed on: 13th April 2026
