Great in branch service

As a new customer I have just opened an account with the Hinckley and Rugby Building Society. I completed the form and had one question but the given phone number was just a recorded message telling me to use the 'contact us' facility on the website. I did this and 48 hours later have had no response. Fortunately I have a branch near to where I live and went in to ask. The lovely staff answered my question immediately and opened my account there and then so I didnt have to post the application. I look forward to dealing with them again in the future. Efficient and friendly service

The office dealt with my requests quickly and efficiently; I received an email the same day and postal communications arrived promptly. A very good society to deal with. Reviewed on: 9th December 2020

Only just opened a savings account so early days to make any comment.

Helpful staff

H&R still operate as a Building Society and not a bank, as an older member of society I appreciate the fact that I am not expected to use 'smart' methods of accessing the accounts held. Reviewed on: 9th December 2020
