Attractive monthly saver and great customer support

Within a day of my sending an inquiry through HRBS website, a lady called me to provide the information requested. She followed up with my request to mail applications. I filled and sent the application. Soon thereafter another customer support lady called to explain the salient features of the product and inform me of the progress of my product application. Fast, flawless and courteous - in short excellent team and many thanks for the management of HSBS for increasing the interest rate in January 2023 for the 30-day notice monthly saver product. Best rate, good service, old school

The rate was the best available currently and for a good period (five years). I don't mind the early withdrawal penalty but I didn't want to be limited to putting in a fixed sum per month or a one- or two-year period, which most of the best rates seem to do. This building society is rather old school. I haven't seen a passbook in years, but why not? An online application form would be a good idea, though, rather than having to download and print a PDF, complete it by hand (though I do have the typewriter function on Adobe Acrobat 9). But if it helps prevent money-laundering that's OK with me. Reviewed on: 13th January 2023

Helpful and friendly customer service

We opened a 30 month Bond Account s new customers. We were promptly provided with the relevant forms. The forms were straightforward and easy to complete. The main terms and conditions were explained to us and we were provided with account documentation. We received a receipt for our cheque and the rest of the opening procedure was explained clearly Reviewed on: 13th January 2023
