Escalation process and staff unhelpful

I’ve enjoyed pay pal until recently, my customer services experience took over a month to resolve my query. I found the communication process time consuming and unnecessary. When matters are “escalated” as the first l point of contacts advise. At that point a call to the customer would have been preferred. If it had been escalated and the person contacted me. The query would have been resolved in days rather than several weeks. The cherry on the cake was authorising PayPal credit for an item and then taking the money out of my current account leaving me unable to pay important bills. The mental and emotional stress this caused me for weeks was indescribable. I couldn’t eat of sleep for days. Again unnecessary financial stress due to paypals own mistake. You done authorise credit and take money out of my account without my permission. Terrible experience Reviewed on: 15th April 2026
