Terrible customer service

Paypal have terrible customer services, they don't seem to understand the concerns you have raised and don't seem to be in a position to put this right. I raised a formal complaint and received a final response letter within a few days that did not address the actual complaint but confirmed they would have no further discussion about this and I could refer to the FCA if dissatisfied, which I have done. There was no option to speak to someone about the complaint or discuss it, just a nameless automatic rejection. I can't even close my account - Paypal make it impossible to figure out how to do this.
