PayPal had failed to properly set up direct debit even after speaking directly to them to ensure payments would go through. It was a mistake in their end yet they reported it to the credit bureau as a missed payment entirely due to me and it had a negative impact on my credit score. I sent a complaint to PayPal and their staff themselves said that they see that it was a mistake in their end yet their complaints team refused to acknowledge this and rectify any of their mistakes in the present because I had missed a payment in the past in a similar situation.
