I had a problem when paying back a loan that the direct debit system, which I had applied for to pay back the loan. Which for my attention I was unaware of as the money was not being taken out on the days which I had requested,when applying for the direct debit. Despite numerous phone calls to my bank and PayPal. The bank(my bank) Where saying the fault was PayPal not issuing them with the amount and PayPal saying it was the fault of the bank rejecting their request to take the money out from my bank account. I was so stressed and fed up, that I started to pay back the loan on my own through the PayPal app myself. Which works perfectly for me now. Reviewed on: 10th May 2026
