As a long-time user of PayPal Credit for online shopping, I was thrilled to learn about the introduction of the physical card enabling in-store, offline use. This update has genuinely bridged the gap between flexible digital financing and everyday shopping needs.Why the In-Store Feature is a Massive Upgrade:True Versatility: Previously, I was limited to using my credit line only with merchants accepting PayPal online. Now, with the physical Mastercard issued by Synchrony, I can use my credit line in shops, restaurants, and on public transport—anywhere Mastercard is accepted.0% Interest Perks Offline: The best feature remains intact: the 4-month 0% interest offer on purchases of $149/£99 or more. Being able to apply this to larger in-store purchases (like appliances or clothes) without needing to pay immediately is a huge benefit for budgeting.Seamless Integration: The new card integrates directly with my existing PayPal wallet, keeping my credit management, statement tracking, and payments all in one place.Instant Access: Once approved for the physical card, I was able to access it for purchases immediately, providing a great "buy now, pay later" flexibility in the real world.
