Never ever trust Paypal

My laptop was comprised and a £500 fraud took place using PayPal credit. PayPal just read script rubbish to me and would not stop the payment. Luckily I had the funds refunded by the shop who actually took fraud seriously. Police cyber crime team were also great. PayPal dont care. Now closing my PayPal after 19 years as I have 0 faith in them at all. Reviewed on: 13th May 2026
