Generally happy but a couple of issues.

I am generally happy with PayPal, ease of paying and ubiquity spring to mind, but I find their app and website difficult to navigate, and there is often a lag between the information displayed and my bank account. Also, I had an issue with money being transferred incorrectly. Getting hold of customer service help was difficult. I received varied and erroneous advice from several service personnel and it took weeks to sort. I will keep using it, but a few tweeks would make it less frustrating. Reviewed on: 19th May 2026
